About the breed
Lleyn sheep are a native breed from the Lleyn peninsula in Wales. They were traditionally kept for milk, and generations of natural selection has produced a prolific, milky ewe. The remoteness from the markets caused a decline in the breed in the 1960s, and at one time it was in danger of becoming a rare breed. However, since the late 1990s, the Lleyn breed has caught the eye of many farmers, and now Lleyn sheep can be found almost all over the country.
Each bag is 100g.
