Each volume in this series has 8 garment and 8 accessory patterns for adults as designed by Jane Ellison. 
 
Put into an easy to use format, the patterns are arranged in the order they appear, created with beginners in mind. Stitches are introduced by difficulty, starting with basic knit and purl and moving through colourwork, cables and lace as the series progresses. 

While a first time knitter would learn by progressing through the patterns, those with experience will also be able to find interesting pieces to work on while watching television or chatting with friends!
